李小龍和甄子丹都借用他們各自時代的拳王，對自己的實戰能力做過定位。電影《龍爭虎鬥》的導演Robert Clouse在自己1987年的書《The Making of Enter the Dragon》中回憶，李小龍曾經親口對自己說：

「人人都說我必須和阿里打一場，我學習阿里的每一個招式，我想知道阿里是怎麼想的，是怎麼移動的。再看看我的手，這是一雙中國人的小細手，阿里可以殺死我！」
（Everybody says I must fight Ali some day. I’m studying every move he makes. I'm getting to know how he thinks and moves. Look at my hand, that's a little Chinese hand. He'd kill me!）

李小龍和甄子丹都是優秀的動作演員，對自己的實力都有自知之明，都沒有吹噓過自己，可是他們都擋不住那些自卑阿武卵影迷們的抹黑... 😘
